PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact DC motor capable of improving the accuracy of fitting a rotor shaft into a bearing for reduction in the sliding noise and vibration of the shaft by enhancing the accuracy of fastening an end cap to a case and of significantly improving accuracy, reliability and durability by preventing the partial wear of the rotor shaft and the bearing and by decreasing additional lubrication to the bearing. SOLUTION: This DC motor is provided with: a latching cap part with a larger diameter than the inner diameter of the opening portion of the case on the end cap; a fitting wall fitted into the inner wall of the case with no clearance in a circumferential direction on the inner surface; and a plurality of snap fitting pieces on the outer side of the top end portion of the fitting wall. Further, snap fitting holes are provided in the side wall portion on the opening portion side of the case, thereby fastening the end cap to the case by snap fitting. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
