<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent degradation in display image quality based on degradation in a photoconductive layer with time caused by irradiation with reading light for browsing, in an optical writing display medium in which information is written from the browsing face side. <P>SOLUTION: The optical writing display medium 10 includes a display layer 18, the optical characteristics of which selectively vary according to applied voltage and which selectively transmits or reflects incident visible light; a photoconductive layer 26, the electrical resistance of which varies according to the irradiation of visible light, in a first wavelength region in the visible light having a predetermined wavelength range passed through the display layer 18; and a selective transmissive layer 20 which transmits a visible light, having a wavelength contained in the first wavelength region passed through the display layer 18 and which absorbs visible light in a second wavelength region, having a wavelength at least other than the first wavelength region. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
