PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient vehicle traveling support device, for increasing torque only when instructed from a driver.

SOLUTION: The vehicle traveling support device 10 for supporting traveling of a vehicle by changing the drive torques of wheels during traveling of the vehicle comprises torque-up means 36 and 38 for increasing the driving torques; and a switching means 12 for switching between a first state where operation of the torque-up means is permitted and a second state where operation of the torque-up means is suppressed according to an input from a vehicle occupant.
