<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrocarbon removal/recovery device which is compact as the whole and capable of efficiently removing/recovering hydrocarbon from an exhaust gas. <P>SOLUTION: This hydrocarbon removal/recovery device comprises (1) an adsorption tower 1 which stores an adsorbent for adsorbing the hydrocarbon of the exhaust gas, (2) a removal means 2 which supplies the exhaust gas to the adsorption tower 1 and removes the hydrocarbon by making the adsorbent adsorb the hydrocarbon of the exhaust gas, and (3) a recovery means 3 which adsorbs and recovers the hydrocarbon adsorbed by the adsorbent. Further, the adsorbent stored in the adsorption tower 1 is formed as a cartridge 111 which can be loaded into and unloaded from the adsorption tower 1. In the cartridge 111, flat plate-like filling layers 113, formed of the adsorbent, are arranged in parallel. Besides, the exhaust gas supplied to one side of the filling layer 113, forms a gaseous current passing through the filling layer 113 and getting out to the other side of the layer 113. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
