<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always synchronize video reproduction and sound reproduction in a video sound reproducing system of a radio communication system, equipped with a server, a video-receiving and reproducing apparatus, and a sound-receiving and reproducing apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A video-receiving and reproducing apparatus 30 receives encoded video data transmitted from a server 10, writes it in a buffer, and reads it from the buffer and decodes the same. A sound-receiving and reproducing apparatus 50 receives the encoded sound data transmitted from the server 10, writes it in a buffer, and reads it from the buffer and decodes the same. The video-receiving and reproducing apparatus 30 and the sound-receiving and reproducing apparatus 50, respectively detect delay time in the self apparatus buffer and transmit a detection result to the server 10. The server 10 calculates, from its detection result, increase or decrease in the fraction of the delay time in the buffer in the sound-receiving and reproducing apparatus 50 or the target value, and instructs the sound-receiving and reproducing apparatus 50 to adjust the buffer delay time.
