A rolling bearing in which at least one of the inner ring, outer ring, and rolling elements is constituted of a steel material having a specific composition, wherein the steel, in a prediction made by extreme value statistics, satisfies that the square root of the area of the maximum oxide-based inclusion present in an area of 30,000 mm2 is 22-50 µm and the steel satisfies the following (A) to (C) after quenching and tempering. (A) To have a hardness Hv of 715-811 after quenching and tempering (B) To have a retained austenite content of 11-28 vol% after quenching and tempering (C) To satisfy 810≤([HV]+4[γR])≤871 where [HV] is the hardness after quenching and tempering and [γR] is the retained austenite content after quenching and tempering. |
