PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a propylene-based resin composition for medical use satisfying test sections of (4) heavy metal, (5) lead, (6) cadmium, (7) ignition residue and (8) eluate of 2.1 Polyethylene-made or Polypropylene-made Aqueous Injection Container of 2. Specification of Plastic Aqueous Injection Container in 7.02 Plastic Pharmaceutical Container Test Method in The Japanese Pharmacopoeia, Sixteenth Edition, holding excellent heat resistance, rigidity, impact resistance, injection moldability and transparency and suitable for a molded article for medical use and provide the molded article thereof.SOLUTION: There is provided a propylene-based resin composition for medical use, containing 100 pts.wt. of a propylene resin consisting of (A) a propylene (co)polymer which is a propylene single polymer polymerized by a Ziegler Natta catalyst or a propylene copolymer consisting of propylene and α-olefin with the content of less than 1 wt.% and having melt flow rate according to JIS K7210 (230°C, 2.16 kg load) of 0.5 to 100 g/10 min. of 60 to 99 pts.wt. and (B) a propylene-ethylene block copolymer polymerized by the Ziegler Natta catalyst and satisfying properties of (B-i) to (B-iv) of 1 to 40 pts.wt. and 0.005 to 0.3 pts.wt. of a nucleating agent and used by a high pressure steam sterilization.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
