PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device which, even if a sheet holding interval in a sheet conveyance direction is narrow, can cut the sheets in a width direction within the holding interval.SOLUTION: A cutting device 10 which includes a blade part 40 for cutting a belt-like sheet 100 to be conveyed and cuts the sheet by rotating the blade part periodically around a shaft parallel to the width direction of the sheet, comprises: a first shaft 12 which revolves around a first rotation axis X1 parallel to the width direction of the sheet and has a shaft center S1 parallel to the first rotation axis; a second shaft 22 which revolves around a second rotation axis X2 arranged apart in parallel to the first rotation axis and has a shaft center S2 parallel to the second rotation axis; a connection part 30 which connects the first shaft with the second shaft; and a blade part which is arranged on an end on the second shaft side of the connection part. A revolution radius R1 of the shaft center of the first shaft is larger than a revolution radius R2 of the shaft center of the second shaft, and a locus width W of the periodic motion of a tip 40E of the blade part is smaller than a revolution diameter D2 of the shaft center of the second shaft.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
