FIELD: machine building.SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method of processing hyperboloid worm, device allowing to implement the said method and ways of processing a worm gear-cutting tool, the generating surface of which is formed by main hyperboloid worm. Method of processing hyperboloid worm means longitudinal feed of the cutting tool in horizontal plane and inclination of the worm rotation axis at the angle equal to its helical line angle due to the use of front and rear centres with ball tops and the rear center shift relative to the front centre of the machine with a shift of the generating profile installation plane relative to the axis of the front centre of the machine. Methods of processing a worm gear-cutting tool means processing of the main surfaces of hyperboloid worm gear-cutting tools - helical surface of the main worm, their chip groove, the front surface of teeth and their relief rear surface.EFFECT: simplified worms processing.21 cl, 3 dwg |
