PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a communication path with the suppression of an increased amount of power consumption in a system.SOLUTION: In a network which includes a plurality of communication devices, a first communication device includes a storage unit, a setting unit and a transmitter unit. The storage unit stores a packet transfer destination in association with the magnitude of power used in transmission processing and a packet destination. On acquiring a transfer route change request, together with information indicative of combination between the destination device of the transmission packet of failed transmission and a second communication device which a transmission packet does not reach, the setting unit sets a transfer destination device to which each packet destined to the destination device is to be transferred. Here, the setting unit sets, as a transfer destination device, a transfer destination in which second transmission power larger than first transmission power used for the transfer of the packet destined to the destination device is associated with the transfer destination device. When the transfer destination device is neither coincident with the transfer destination device nor the second communication device, the transmitter unit transmits information indicative of the combination and the change request to the transfer destination device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
