PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a brake operation to be carried out by the command from the police vehicle when a vehicle is running away.SOLUTION: An operation signal is issued by pushing an operation command button 21 of a police vehicle 2. When an object vehicle 3 receives the operation signal, a traveling speed and a legal speed limit are obtained from a navigation device 32 in a control unit 31. When the traveling speed exceeds the legal speed limit+α, a brake 36 is forcibly operated to lock a door 37 and a power window 38, thereby issuing a voice warning from a speaker 39. When the traveling speed gets to zero, the engine 35 is also stopped. Then, when a release signal is received from the police vehicle 2, the operation is restored to a normal operation. Since the object vehicle 3 automatically decelerates, the occurrence of an accident due to reckless driving is suppressed, and the tracking of the object vehicle by the police vehicle 2 can be also reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
