PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding member for thermoelectric conversion suppressing a local temperature rise at a sliding surface caused due to sliding, and a thermoelectric conversion sliding device.SOLUTION: In a sliding member 2 for thermoelectric conversion, a sliding surface 2a formed of a copper alloy is provided, the copper alloy being obtained by dispersing Cu-S sulfide into a bronze matrix. Heat and electricity can be converted therebetween at the sliding surface 2a. A local temperature rise at the sliding surface 2 caused by sliding is extracted as electric power through thermoelectric conversion. In reverse, by supplying electric power to absorb heat, a temperature rise at the sliding surface can be effectively suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
