FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine and can be used for simulation of propagation of a contrast agent in a patient. For this purpose a physiologically proved pharmacokinetic model is used containing one nonlinear period of saturation in the peripheral venous compartment. Herewith the exogenous administration of the contrast agent is determined by the non-linear input function u(t)≡=C(t)·Q(t), where C(t) is the concentration of the contrast enhancing agent as a function of time and Q(t) is the flow rate of the contrast agent administration as a function of time, herewith Q(t) is a constant equal to the specified maximum administration flow rate having flow rates of administration equal to or greater than the specified maximum administration flow rate.
