PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that allows data format conversion processing to be efficiently done at an appropriate memory.SOLUTION: A memory size when format conversion processing for data communicated by EDI communication is normally finished is registered as format conversion information in association with a communication destination with which the data is communicated, a type indicating contents of the data, and a transmission/reception classification. The format conversion information retains a memory size necessary for format conversion processing when data with the same communication destination, the same type, and the same transmission/reception classification as the data is processed next time. This allows format conversion processing to be performed by using the memory size used at the previous time if data with the same communication destination, the same type, and the same transmission/reception classification is processed again.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
