PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide various auxiliary articles including various sensors that can be used with various absorbent articles for generating a sensor system.SOLUTION: A sensor 131 is placed on an auxiliary article in communication with the outer surface of a layer facing clothing (liquid non-transmission part of an absorbent article), and thereby an absorbent article 109 (for example, a core and a layer facing clothing) is designed to functionally communicate with the sensor. The sensor 131 can be placed at the outer side so as to be adjacent to the layer facing the clothing if it is adapted to the absorbent article. The sensor cannot be physically attached to the absorbent article. The sensor is configured to sense a change in the state within the absorbent article.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A
