PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mainly provide novel solid preparations (viable cell-containing preparations) containing an enteric useful bacterium as an active ingredient.SOLUTION: The present invention provides, for example, a solid preparation (particularly tablet) characterized by containing an enteric useful bacterium and a starch with a loss on drying value of 4% or less, within the range of 5-35 mass%. The solid preparation (viable cell-containing preparation) related to the invention can be produced easily and has a high bacterial survival rate after storage.
