PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phosphorus oxide-added adsorbent element that can adsorb and remove a basic gas such as ammonia and various amines for the long term and a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: A method for producing a phosphorus oxide-added adsorbent element includes the steps of making a heat-resistant adsorption base material, such as an active carbon fiber, carry ammonium salt of phosphoric acid such as diammonium hydrogen phosphate, heating the adsorption base material at 170-600°C, and converting phosphate carried by the adsorption base material into phosphorus oxide.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
