PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine of pole-number switching type capable of ensuring the generation efficiency of torque under a high polarity while reducing the size of coil end.SOLUTION: A stator has two or more stator slots for every poles and phases. In a coil, which reciprocates four times or more on the stator slot, a coil is connected in a manner that the coil, after passing a first slot, passes a second slot which is separated away from the first slot by p slots in a circumferential direction; subsequently passes a third slot neighboring the first slot at the second slot side; and subsequently passes a fourth slot neighboring the second slot at the opposite side to the third slot.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
