The container for foodstuff is made from cardboard (10) with the inside surface of the container being lined with aluminium foil (1). This aluminium foil is attached to the container in the region of the container floor and the container lid, so that it can be easily detached from the cardboard. When the cotnainer has been discarded, the ease with which the aluminium foil can be separated from the cardboard facilitates the recycling of each material from which the container is made. ADVANTAGE - Allows cycling of containers.
