PURPOSE: To obtain powder food agglutinated grain with a uniform dimension and including little fine powder grain by easily and inexpensively agglutinating powder food to spray-dry, which is specifically constituted, in a single process. CONSTITUTION: First, an agglutinating medium L passes through an agglutinating liquid sending pipe 12 to be sprayed from a spray drying nozzle 11 into a drying chamber 2 desirably in the shape C of a cone. On the other hand, the powder food F is supplied from a feeder 14 for a powder food pipe 13 surrounding the pipe 12 by a pneumatic transporting device P consisting of a blower 15 and guiding pipes 18, 19 and 16 and is introduced to the chamber 2 from behind the nozzle 11 at a high speed. Thereby the powder food F is made to collide with the agglutinating medium to form the agglutinated grain A. At the time hot air H introduced to the chamber 2 through space 7 in a plenum pipe 6 from a plenum chamber, the grain A is desirably dried speedily. |
