PURPOSE:To enhance a availability factor and working efficiency as well by accurately grasping the symtoms of each trouble in response to users, conditions in use and the like, and thereby making it possible to perform qualified maintenance efficiently. CONSTITUTION:In the control system for an image forming device where a plurality of copying machines are connected to a control means controlling the copying machines via communication circuits, the device is equipped with a timer 408 measuring time elapsed since the copying machine was in a jammed condition, a CPU 402 which automatically outputs an alarm signal to the control means when the elapsed time measured by the timer 408 has come to an alarm reporting level, and with an actuating unit 301 which sets up a processing level for an alarm signal to be outputted by the CPU 402. |
