<p>PURPOSE:To inexpensively obtain a lightweight floor carpet excellent in sound insulating properties by eliminating the inferior phenomenon caused by the exudation of urethane caused by the exudation of urethane to the surface of the carpet by fusing a preformed urethane foam layer to the rear surface of the floor carpet of a car at the time of molding. CONSTITUTION:A resin 2 is applied to the nylon yarn tufted rear surface of a polyester spun bond base fabric in a molten state to produce a carpet. A two-pack type foamed urethane raw soln. is injected to a belt from a mixing jet head and passed through a heating oven to form a urethane block layer which is, in turn, sliced into two kinds of urethane foam layers respectively having thicknesses of 5mm and 15mm. The urethane foam layer 32 with density of 0.03g/cm and a thickness of 15mm is set to a lower mold at a predetermined position and the urethane foam layer 31 with density of 0.12-0.07g/cm<3> and a thickness of 5mm is laminated to the urethane foam layer 32 and both layers are heated in a heating oven to laminate the rear surface of a carpet 1 to the urethane foam layer and the whole is subjected to cold press molding between upper and lower molds to produce a desired floor carpet.</p> |
