<p>PURPOSE:To uniformize printing by correcting irregularity at every dot by forming a printing pulse consisting of a fundamental pulse and a plurality of correction pulses on the basis of counted pulse length and performing printing on the basis of the printing pulse. CONSTITUTION:A control chip 200 is constituted so that the printing data of one line inputted from an INDATA terminal is stored in the RAM of the control chip and outputted as fundamental data (printing data) to be multiplied by respective correction data and printing control data are outputted. These printing control data are parallelly outputted by four dots as ODATA 0-3. The output of strobe pulses having predetermined lengths is controlled on the basis of the printing control data to control a printing time. That is, for example, the strobe pulses consist of one fundamental pulse and three correction pulses different in length where the fundamental pulse and the correction pulses corresponding to the correction data of the dot thereof are outputted and printing is performed for the times corresponding thereto.</p> |
