PURPOSE: To easily and speedily perform repairing by cutting a surface of a printing cylinder to be repaired, degreasing the surface, blasting it, preheating it, thermally flame-coating the surface, finishing coating, and sealing it. CONSTITUTION: In repairing a printing machine, especially a printing cylinder 4 by thermally flame-coating it, a support beam 8 is installed on a side wall 10 of the printing machine to be parallel to an axis of the cylinder 4 to be repaired. A longitudinal and a transverse supports 18, 19 are installed on the support beam 8, the longitudinal support 18 is engaged with a pull spindle 21, and a duplex type tool rest 20 connected to a drive mechanism is installed on the transverse support 19. Repairing is executed in this order. First, a surface of the cylinder 4 to be repaired is cut to a base diameter. Next, the surface is degreased, blasting is conducted, and it is preheated. Subsequently, the surface is thermally flame-coated, coating is finished, and the coating is sealed. |
