PURPOSE:To improve the cutting resistance of a groove bottom while reducing an under-groove gage to attain light weight and reduce the rolling resistance of one layer. CONSTITUTION:Tread rubber disposed at the upper part of belt layers 4d, 4u is to be two-layer structure formed of a cap tread layer 1c and an under-tread layer 1d. An under-groove gage (t) from the groove bottom of a groove provided at the tread rubber to the belt cord surface of the outermost belt layer 4u is to be 2.5mm or less, and the under-tread layer 1d is formed of a rubber composition compounded by the combined use of carbon and carbon black.
