<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a color image forming device in which full-color printing can be made with higher image quality while photosensitive paper is moved at a fixed speed relatively to a liquid crystal shutter array. CONSTITUTION:Light from a light exposure source 9 is successively transmitted through a red filter, a green filter, and a blue filter to be incident on a liquid crystal shutter array 11. The liquid crystal shutter array is provided with five white/black liquid crystal pixel lines orthogonal to the movement direction of photosensitive paper and actuated as follows. Namely, pixels of three lines are selected from the headmost and opened or closed in accordance with image data for every color light from the light exposure source in synchronism with the color light. At this time, pixels of unselected pixel lines are all closed. In this manner, at every time when color light is changed over, three pixel lines to be selected are shifted one by one, whereby a color image is optically written on the photosensitive paper.</p> |
