PURPOSE: To easily install a connector on a circuit board by placing the connector in a specific position of a surface part of the circuit board, and inserting/ engaging an installing tool from above into/with an installing hole in which both are superposed on each other. CONSTITUTION: When a connector 12 is installed on a circuit board 11, the connector 12 is placed in a specific position of a surface part of the board 11, and from claw parts 20 of an installing tool 18, leg parts 19 are inserted from above into an installing hole 13 of the board 11 from a hole 16 to be inserted of the connector 12. Therefore, the claw parts 20 engage with the edge part of the hole 13 on the reverse of the board 11 by passing through the hole 16 and the hole 13 in order while bending the leg parts 19. A head part 21 of the installing tool 18 also engages with an installing seat 17, and the connector 12 is sandwiched by and fixed to the board 11 by the claw parts 20 and this. Therefore, this can easily cope with a difference in a plate thickness of the circuit board. |
