PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated oxygen sensor with excellent durability and high thermal conducting efficiency from a heater to an element. SOLUTION: Electrodes 13 and 14 are provided to both surfaces 16a and 16b of a reaction wall 16 of an element 12. A projected line 17 is formed upward along the entire sides of the upper surface 16a of the wall 16. A heater 15 is arranged in a space surrounded with the upper surface 16a of the wall 16 and the line 17. The heater 15 is held on the base end part of the upper surface 16a with a spacer interposed, thereby allowing the heater 15 to be opposite to the wall 16 and close thereto. When the heater 15 geneates a heat, the radiated heat generating from the opposite surface 15a of the heater 15 is transmitted to the upper surface 16a of the wall 16, and the radiated heat generating from the side surface 15a of the heater 15 is transmitted to the inner wall 17a of the line 17. The radiated heat is transmitted from a plurality of surfaces 15a and 15b of the heater 15 to the element 12. The upper surface 16a of the wall 16 is exposed to an exhaust gas, while the lower surface 16b of the wall 16 is exposed to the air. |
