PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent all terminals under a server from being stopped due to system down and to improve the reliability of the entire network when excessive load is placed on the server. SOLUTION: The server is constituted of plural server terminals 10a which have a server function. In such cases, each server terminal is provided with an overload state supervising part 31 which monitors an overload state of a self-server terminal and notifies the effect when it detects an overload state, a terminal information storing part 33 which registers the server address of each server terminal, a network address selecting part 32 which refers to the terminal information storing part, selects another server terminal that becomes a substitute server for the self-server terminal and notifies the server address of the server terminal when it receives the notification of an overload state, and a network address converting part 34 which converts the address of a telegraphic message from a client terminal to the self-server terminal into a notified network address and sends it other server terminals when the network address is notified from the network address selecting part. |
