<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the position input device for pointing which enables the stable operation and size reduction of an information processor and uses a spherical rotary body. SOLUTION: This input device 410 uses the spherical rotary body 411 that can point an arbitrary position on the display screen of an image display device with a pointer, both end parts 411A and 411B which face each other about the center of the spherical rotary body 411 are held by a couple of parallel holding members 413A and 413B while projecting from both the flanks of the holding meters 413h and 413B, and the spherical rotary body 411 is rotated in a specific direction to input the position of the said pointer and pressed in a specific direction to set the position of the said pointer.</p> |
