PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately index a detection position even if the visual field of a camera deviates, by finding distance in two-dimensional direction up to a heat source where a new heat is detected from a reference point, when heat is lost together from the reference point being stored as data and an equivalent heat is detected from an area near each reference point instead. SOLUTION: In a monitoring state by a camera 2, distance in two-dimensional direction between a reference point due to a plurality of constant heat sources and a reference point due to a plurality of constant heat sources being stored in a computer 3 as data in advance is found constantly. When both of the obtained distance are within a set error range, it is judged that the visual field of the camera 2 have deviated and the distance in two-dimensional direction is stored as a deviation vector. Then, when the camera 2 actually detects an arc, an arc detection position is corrected, based on the deviation vector being stored, thus accurately calculating a specific arc detection position even if the visual field of the camera 2 deviates.
|
