<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a plug tip side seal ring and a socket tip side seal ring from being exposed to a high pressure fluid in a connection process. SOLUTION: A pipe joint comprises a socket 1 in which a socket body 3, a socket side valve holder 4 and a valve push rod 5 are fitted, a space between a tip of the socket side valve holder 4 and a head part 11 of the valve push rod 5 is an opening part 12 of a flow passage 9, a socket side slide valve 13 which is advanced to abut on the head part 11 and closes the opening part 12 is fitted to the socket side valve holder 4, and a socket side auxiliary valve 17 provided with seal rings 18, 19 is fitted between the socket body 3 and the valve push rod 5, and a plug 2 in which a plug side slide valve 34 to open/close an opening part 33 of a fluid passage 31 to be opened in an inner circumference of a plug body is fitted to the plug body 26, and a seal ring 37 to seal between the plug and the plug side slide valve 34 is provided on the inner circumference of the tip part of the plug body 26.</p> |
