<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the redelivery of an article by delivery crew unnecessary at a storage locker for a home delivery article set at a residence or the like. SOLUTION: A portable terminal device 1 carrier by delivery crew is connected to a control device 3 for a storage locker for a home delivery article through a communication circuit 2. The delivery crew makes reservations for a box in the storage locker 4 for a home delivery article using the control device 3 through the terminal device 1. The reservations accepting means 3a of the control device 3 accepts the box reservations for as vacant box in the locker 4 in response to the reservations operation by the terminal device 1. A reservations data storage means 3b stores the reservations data such as the name of a delivery man, the number of the box reserved or the like. The delivery man as a person for whom the reservations are made actually gets around to deliver the article, and performs the acceptance procedures by setting an IC card 5 or the like for data input. Then a means 3c to identify a person for whom the reservations are made identifies whether he is the right person. When his identity is established, a means 3d for permitting the storage permits the operation for storing the home delivery article into the box reserved by the identified person.</p> |
