摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve display quality while enlarging a display panel and improving resolution by lowering the resistance of electric discharge electrodes, which are a metal electrode and a transparent electrode, lowering the unevenness of the glass substrate surface on which the electric discharge electrodes are formed, and suppressing electrode discontinuity by improving the installation structure of the discharge electrodes on the glass substrate surface in at least display face side. SOLUTION: First metal electrodes 41, which are in the lower sides and wider and thicker than the transparent electrodes 42 are buried in recessed parts in the surface of a glass substrate 11, second metal electrodes 43, which are in the upper sides and on the opposite to the first metal electrodes 41 while sandwiching transparent electrodes 42 having open parts 44 in the regions contacting the first metal electrodes 41 between the first and the second electrodes and have the same width as and thinner than the first metal electrodes 41, are layered on the first metal electrodes 41, and the first metal electrodes 41 and the second metal electrodes 43 are partially and directly attached to each other through the open parts 44 to give electric discharge electrodes with a three layer structure.
