The base holder(2) is constructed as a four-sided profiled element(6) with one side(10) for installation on the vehicle, and on at least two of the other three sides(7-9) fitting connections(18,19,20,23) are provided for the attachment of a corresponding retaining clip(3-5). The side for installing on the vehicle is slotted in the longitudinal direction of the profiled element to form two fixing flanges(11,12). One of the sides which is not installed on the vehicle is profiled with a center section(15) which is offset in relation to the corners(16,17).
