Camera pentaprism (19) has third reflection surface (19b) with semi-transparent area having central axis conforming with optical axis (21x) of eyepiece (21). Auxiliary prism (31) is cemented with semi-transparent area, made of same material as pentaprism. Outside auxiliary prism, dioptic correction lens (33), mirror (35), display plate (37) and LED light sources (39) are arranged in sequence. Mirror (35), display plate (37) and LED light sources (39) are arranged in sequence outside auxiliary prism (31), along optical axis (21x) of eyepiece (21). Display plate is orthogonal to optical axis and has five distance measuring range masks. Light source has five selectable LEDs corresponding to masks. Depending on selected mask, control switches on one of LEDs according to distance data. Light is fed via mask to mirror (35) through dioptic correction lens (33) and auxiliary prism (31) and reflected onto pentaprism to be viewed through eyepiece (21) together with object image on focus plate (15). Independent claim for viewfinder with LCD field as display.
