摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To thin a device without the drop of luminance and the increase of a loss owing to the increase of FL leak current by loading the end part of a display panel on the upper face of a lamp reflector formed of a metallic board. SOLUTION: In a lamp reflector 22, a metal board is bent so that a cross section is almost a U shape and it is constituted of an upper part 22a, a side part 22b and a lower part 22c. On the left side of the upper face part 22a on the irradiation face side of a light transmission board 110, a step part 24 is installed and an upper end part 26 is almost parallel to the irradiation face of a light transmission board 12. The height of the step part 24 is made to be slightly higher than the thickness of an optical sheet 16 and the end part of a liquid crystal cell 34 can be supported by the upper face part 22a. The lower end part 28 of the lamp reflector 22 on the right of the lower face part 22c is arranged almost parallel to the light transmission board 12, a reflection board 14 and a light absorption part 20. A size between the upper end part 26 and the lower end part 28 is formed to be slightly smaller than thickness where the light transmission board 12, the light reflection board 14 and the light absorption part 20 are stacked.
