PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic device capable of restraining the discharge of solvent to the outside of the device to the minimum, always having excellent transfer characteristic and outputting a high-quality image. SOLUTION: This electrophotographic device is provided with a latent image forming means 31 forming an electrostatic latent image on a latent image holding body 1, a developing means 41 forming a toner image on the latent image holding body by supplying liquid developer including toner particles and the solvent to the electrostatic latent image, and a transfer means 8 transferring the toner image to paper 10 by pressure. The device is also provided with cooling means 11 and 12 cooling so that the surface temperature of the latent image holding body 1 at the time of transfer may be lower than that of the paper 10.
