PURPOSE: A pipe expanding method is provided to obtain a copper alloy pipe of a desired bore. CONSTITUTION: A front end of an extruded small pipe(1) is widened lengthwise to insert a plug(2) with a gush unit(2') until the gush unit is inserted completely. A toothed tool(3) is inserted to the widened front end and inputted to a drawbench(5) by being gripped in a vise of a drawing machine. The front end of the extruded small pipe is pulled with the vise to pull out the extruded small pipe. Herein, the pipe body is drawn by the gush unit. Thereby, the pipe is expanded.
