PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the apperance with a simple structure by dispensing with the guide rods at both sides of a deck room with respect to a slide-type tonneau cover. SOLUTION: Sliders 20, guided by the guide grooves 5a formed on the side surfaces of a deck room 2 in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle, are mounted at both sides of a tonneau cover basic part 10. Each slider is provided with a lock member for locking the slide of the slider 20 at a position, where the tonneau cover basic part 10 is adjusted in the vehicle longitudinal direction corresponding to the degree of the inclination of a rear seat 1, and an operation pin for releasing the locking motion.
