PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a fault due to excess ink by reducing the excess ink on an inner peripheral face of a plate cylinder as much as possible. SOLUTION: The stencil printer comprises an ink roller 302 provided in a plate cylinder 300 to supply an ink to an inner periphery 300b of the cylinder, and an ink supply roller 303 provided at a slight gap to form a wedge-like ink reservoir 307 between the roller 302 and the roller 303 to supply the ink of the reservoir to the ink roller while regulating a thickness of the layer. In this case, a layer thickness regulating member 306 is provided near an outer peripheral face 302a of the roller 302 disposed at a downstream side of the roller 302 in a rotating direction D from the reservoir 307 to regulate a layer thickness of the ink supplied to the peripheral face 302a.
