PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cup holder constituted so as to respond to a difference in the diameter of a beverage vessel without causing enlargement. SOLUTION: The cup holder comprises a main holder 6 having a recessed part 9 for supporting the bottom surface and part of the side surface of the beverage vessel and a sub holder 7 having a segmental bent section 12 for holding the beverage vessel in cooperation with the recessed part. The sub holder is pivoted to the main holder so as to be turnable between a storage position where the bent section is directed vertically and a used position where the bent section is directed horizontally. An auxiliary plate 22 for holding the beverage vessel with a small diameter is pivoted to the sub holder while the plate is elastically turned and energized toward an overlapped position on the forward projection surface of the sub holder. Therefore, the cup holder is not required to be enlarged, and an effect of the auxiliary plate on the other part is substantially zero. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
