PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching hub capable of optimizing aging time. SOLUTION: The switching hub 100 includes ports 101<SB>1</SB>to 101<SB>N</SB>; a switching section 103 that registers link information, including default aging time to a cache table 104 by each of links with a sender terminal for transferring data via the ports 101<SB>1</SB>to 101<SB>N</SB>among terminals 200<SB>1</SB>to 200<SB>N</SB>; a data transfer interval measuring section 102 that measures a data transfer interval from the sender terminal by each link with the sender terminal; and an aging time calculating section 105 that calculates the average of non-transfer times, when the transfer from the sender terminal is stopped by each link with the sender terminal, increases the aging time more than the default aging time, when the average of the non-transfer times is longer than the default aging time on the cache table 104, and decreases the aging time more than the default aging time, when the average of the non-transfer times is shorter than the default aging time.
