<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the workability for housing an extra length part of an optical fiber drawn out of an optical fiber cable and for changing over the connection with an optical coupler unit. SOLUTION: Plural parting plates 5 are arrayed in an extra length part of optical fiber housing shelf 2 in the lateral direction in the vertical attitude at an interval respectively to partition the extra length part of optical fiber housing shelf 2, and plural divided regions by the prating plates 5 are formed in array in the extra length part of optical fiber housing shelf 2. Respective divided regions are formed into individual extra length part housing parts 20 in which a preset number (for example, two each) of the extra length parts of the coated optical fiber tapes 1 drawn out of the optical fiber cable are individually housed. Guide rails for guiding the parting plates 5 are provided in the inner wall of the bottom part of respective extra length part housing shelves 2 over from this side to the inner side of the extra length part housing shelf 2, and the parting plates 5 are provided in the guide rails so as to freely slide.</p> |
