PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an amplification apparatus capable of equally allocating power consumption to a plurality of amplification units in the amplification apparatus which adds and outputs a plurality of signals outputted from the plurality of amplification units. SOLUTION: The amplification apparatus comprises: amplification units 16-1 to 16-n each for amplifying a carrier wave signal; an addition unit 18 for adding and outputting signals outputted from the amplification units 16-1 to 16-n; and a control signal distribution unit 22 which outputs a control signal C1 commanding amplification to be performed for a first time length to a first amplifier that is one of the amplification units 16-1 to 16-n, outputs a control signal C2 commanding amplification to be performed for a second time length different from the first time length to a second amplifier that is one of the amplification units 16-1 to 16-n, outputs the control signal C2 to the first amplifier in place of the control signal C1, and outputs the control signal C2 to a third amplifier that is one of the amplification units 16-1 to 16-n, different from the first amplifier.
