PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resonator being a small size and having a high performance, to provide a band-pass filter, to provide a high-frequency part using these resonator and band-pass filter, and to provide a communication device. SOLUTION: The resonator has an input terminal and an output terminal, a first transmission line is connected between the input terminal and a ground, and a second transmission line is connected between the output terminal and the ground. In the resonator, a first inductance element is connected between one end of the first transmission line and the ground, and a second inductance element is connected between one end of the second transmission line and the ground. In the resonator, the first transmission line and the second transmission line are constituted by using electrode patterns in a substrate for a laminated substrate formed by laminating a plurality of dielectric layers. In the resonator, the first transmission line and the second transmission line are coupled electromagnetically by superposing the first transmission line and at least a part of the second transmission line in the laminating direction.
