PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display screen support mechanism capable of tilting a display screen part to a horizontal direction in the case of carrying without using a round turning pivot, and also turning within a prescribed turning range which does not reach the horizontal direction in the case of normal usage. SOLUTION: The display screen support mechanism 10 comprises: a display screen support member 11 including a turning part 11b; a base seat side support member 12 for turnably supporting the turning part 11b of the display screen support member 11; sheet metal plate-like support shafts 13, 14 for relatively turning the display screen support member 11 and the base seat side support member 12; and turning range restricting members 20 which are attached to the support shafts 13, 14 and restrict the turning range of the display screen support member 11 to be within the prescribed turning range, so as to allow a display screen fitting part 11a for fitting a display screen part 40 in the display screen support member 11 to be turned to make a horizontal direction angle in a restriction release state or to allow the display screen fitting part 11a in the display screen support member 11 not to be turned to make the horizontal direction angle in a restriction state.
