PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive microphone unit excellent in acoustic characteristics, and easy to be assembled. SOLUTION: A filter 50 covers a microphone 20 by closing a sound hole 12a at a chassis 10. The filter 50 is made with elastic fabrics and formed in the shape of a thin film. The center section 51 of the filter 50 is disposed in front of the microphone 20, while the peripheral section 52 of the center section 51 is disposed between a grommet 30 and a wall surface of the sound hole 12a at the chassis 10.
