A connector for a high pressure gas pipe is provided to preclude a gas leakage, obtain high sealing efficiency, and simplify the connector structure by inserting packings in a combined part between the connector and fittings. A connector(10) for a high pressure gas pipe connects pipes(100). The connector has one side which is combined with the pipes, and the other side which is formed with annular grooves(14) on inclined surfaces having inclined protrusions(12). Packings(16) are combined with the annular grooves. The fittings are formed with inclined surfaces(24) which are expanded to the outside. The inclined surfaces of the connector are inserted to the inclined surfaces of the connector with the packings, and the insertion part is fastened with combining nuts(18).
