An image forming apparatus is provided to install an absorption member composed of polyurethane form and activated carbon in the body, thereby absorbing an environmental harmful substance effectively and reducing noise. An image forming apparatus has an absorption member(70) in the inside of a body(100) to reduce noise while absorbing an environmental harmful substance generated in printing. An exposure unit, a developing unit, a transferring unit(40), and a fusing unit are installed in the inside of the body. The absorption member is installed in the side front of the body in which the developing unit, the transferring unit, and the fusing unit are positioned. The body has an absorption fan for absorbing external air. The absorption member is installed in the other-sided wall of the body. The absorption member is composed of polyurethane form and activated carbon.
